Why?
The beauty of the snow and the quiet of the surroundings draws me outdoors. Moving so fluidly, so rhythmically, pressing on to see the stuff of which I'm made, Me versus myself, with no prize except the experience itself. Bring it on!

Why?
It's not related to an athletic competition, but in relation to anything sort of extreme and outdoorsy...like rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, or a long trek that will test the goods I'm made of.
